3rd ETED Cup Japan–China Entrepreneurs Golf Invitational Held in Fukuoka, Promoting International Exchange and Regional Tourism
The 3rd ETED Cup Japan–China Entrepreneurs Golf Invitational took place in Fukuoka, Japan, from September 26 to October 2, 2026, bringing together business leaders and invited guests from Japan and China.

Under the theme "Golf Connects, Friendship Lasts," the event combined sporting competition, cultural exchange, business networking, and regional tourism to strengthen mutual understanding and long-term relationships.
Connecting Entrepreneurs Through Golf
The week-long program featured several renowned golf courses in the Kyushu region.

On September 27, participants visited JR Uchino Country Club for an opening round of golf. The official 3rd ETED Cup competition was held at The Classic Golf Club on September 28.
The program continued at Koga Golf Club on September 29, followed by a Japan–China entrepreneurs' friendship competition at The Queens Hill Golf Club on September 30.
These activities provided participants with opportunities to experience Japan's high-quality golfing facilities while developing personal connections and exploring potential business cooperation.
Expanding Cultural Exchange Through Guandan

In addition to golf, the program featured Guandan, a traditional Chinese partnership card game that combines strategy, teamwork, and intellectual competition.
On October 1, the ETED Global Guandan Mind Sports Alliance held a Japan–China invitational exchange competition.
The inclusion of Guandan introduced a new dimension to the event, allowing participants to engage in cultural exchange through a different form of sporting activity.
By combining golf and mind sports, ETED aims to create inclusive opportunities for international networking, cultural understanding, and lasting friendships.
Supporting Tourism and Regional Economic Development
Fukuoka served as the main destination for the program, with participants staying at Fukuoka Prince Hotel Momochihama and visiting several golf courses across the region.
The event incorporated accommodation, transportation, dining, and golf services into a coordinated travel experience.
Multi-day international sporting events can generate demand for local hotels, restaurants, transportation providers, golf facilities, and tourism-related businesses.
By introducing overseas entrepreneurs to the natural beauty, hospitality, and recreational attractions of Kyushu, the program also helped promote the region as a destination for international golf tourism and business travel.
Building Long-Term Connections Through Sports
ETED continues to develop international exchange programs that bring together sports, culture, tourism, and business.
Through golf tournaments and Guandan competitions, the organization seeks to strengthen relationships between Japanese and Chinese entrepreneurs while supporting regional tourism and people-to-people exchange.
Looking ahead, ETED plans to expand cooperation with local tourism organizations, golf courses, hotels, and businesses throughout Japan to create further opportunities for international sporting and cultural events.
By connecting people through sports, fostering understanding through culture, and creating opportunities through international exchange, ETED remains committed to strengthening Japan–China friendship and contributing to regional development.
